Nervous to Try Coconut Oil (Lost in Weight and Getting Sick)

I’m a 50-year old woman, probably 65 pounds overweight (based on standard charts), bad eater (sweet coffee’s my worst), and work 7 days a week. I’m nervous to try coconut oil because I keep getting one illness after another. I have a fatty liver, and this week, a sinus cold.
Why coconut oil? Because that’s what I have available to use.
Should I do the coconut oil cleaning out method (coconut oil detox) for 3 days then start walking? What do you think? How much to start with? What time to do in the morning, afternoon, etc.? Mix with warm tea? Appreciate your time and help in figuring this out for me.
Hi,
Is this the first time you are going to fast? If yes, make sure your body is not weak as it might not be able to handle the demand of a fast or detoxification. In fact, no one should go on a detoxification program with a weak body, first time or not.
If you are sure your body is strong enough to undergo detoxification, start with the 3-day Coconut Oil Detox first before doing the longer ones, should you decide. Have someone knowledgeable with fasting be around to support you if you plan on doing the detox for 7 days or more.
The coconut oil detox is one of the most powerful ways to restore balance in your all-important immune system. So yes, do it, but only if and when your body is ready for it.
If you’ve lost considerable weight and are quite sick as of late, I advise you to postpone the fast and build up your body’s reserves first. Once you have regained strength and feel good about yourself, that’s the time to do it.
It’s best if you avoid taking tea while doing the detox. How much oil to start with? 10-14 tablespoons daily spread throughout the day is a good start. You can take 3 tablespoons 4 times a day, or 1 tablespoon every hour. It’s all up to you as long as you spread the intake and consume 10-14 tablespoons in one day.

Hope this helps.
All the best,
