Refined Coconut Oil
Certainly Has Its Uses

Refined coconut oil gives no excuse for not benefiting from the healthiest oil known to man. Although you won't hear me recommending refined or processed coconut oil that much, its perfect-fit uses are undeniable.

I love anything and everything about coconuts. But I also realize that not all likes the scent and/or taste of fresh coconuts. No big deal. It's just individual preference.

Mild flavored foods like eggs may or may not taste a little like coconut, depending on the oil used. If you're trying to avoid the coconut aroma and/or flavor, processed oil would be preferable.

Note that most foods with a moderate taste will completely mask the coconut. The delicious part is for many foods, the coconut scrumptiously enhances the flavor. You really should try some coconut recipes to see, or should I say, taste what I mean.

Me and my wife use virgin coconut oil (VCO) 90% of the time. The other 10%? Well, my wife uses refined edible coconut oil for some select dishes. There's only one dietary oil in our kitchen - Coconut Oil, The King of Oils.
