Spoonful?

by Becca

When you say you take it by the spoonful, do you mean you cook the oil first and then take it by the spoonful or just right out of the jar. I am a little confused. Can you help?

Hi Becca,

Yes, take coconut oil by the spoonful right out of the jar. You don’t have to cook it. Just pour it straight or scoop it and coconut oil is ready to give you a health-boost!

You can also add the oil to your favorite beverage, preferably hot, for easier mixing. My sisters do it all the time with their morning coffee.

For optimal results, it's also a great idea to cook with it. Coconut oil is best oil to cook with because at 92 percent saturated, it is the most stable dietary fat known to man.

All the best,
Frederick

Easy way for me.... Take a teaspoon before a meal and let it melt in your mouth. After about 5 minutes, swish it around in your mouth (also good for your gums) then swallow.. WhaLa!

Liquid or Hard, Coconut Oil is Great
by: Frederick

Hi! Actually, it doesn't matter what state the coconut oil is in when you take it. Hard or liquid, coconut oil remains the healthiest oil on earth. If you have no problems consuming the oil either in liquid or solid form, then do so as you wish.

If it's liquid and you want it hard, just put it in the fridge for an hour or so and it should be ready. If it's hard and you want it liquid, just place it in a bucket with hot water for a few minutes or take it out of the fridge well before using it.

Cheers,
Frederick

Storing Coconut Oil
by: Anonymous

I live in Puerto Rico (hot). When I leave the coconut oil at room temperature, it is too liquid. When I refrigerate it, it is too hard. Any suggestions????

Like Butter
by: Yuri

From where I live, coconut oil is most of the time in solid form. As such, I use it like butter. Coconut oil, after all, is called coconut butter when in solid form, if I'm not mistaken.

Solid or Liquid, Same Health Benefits
by: Frederick

Yes, Becca. You eat the coconut oil right off the spoon in its solid state.

Coconut oil is in liquid form above 76 degrees Fahrenheit and turns solid below it.

It doesn't matter what state coconut oil is in when you take it. You still get the same amazing health benefits!

Thank you Frederick. The coconut oil I have is in a solid state. So you eat it right off the spoon in its solid state?
