Oil Pulling

by Mary Lynn
(Canada)

Has anyone tried coconut oil for oil pulling? I use olive and sesame seed oils but had little results with coconut oil. I do use coconut oil on my skin and in my coffee.

Welcome back, Mary Lynn!

Actually, sesame seed and sunflower oils are the most commonly used for oil pulling, but any vegetable oil will work just fine. I prefer to use coconut oil because of its countless health benefits.

Sometimes, simple oil pulling, even with the mighty coconut oil, is not always enough. For people who need a little extra care, Oil Pulling Therapy is definitely worth exploring. This program combines coconut oil, diet, select nutrients, oral pH balancing methods, etc, all of which working together to greatly enhance the healing effects of oil pulling.

The book, "Oil Pulling Therapy: Detoxifying and Healing the Body Through Oral Cleansing" by Dr. Bruce Fife, covers the details of this therapy.

Hope this helps,
Frederick
