Mothers Milk and Coconut Oil:
Their Eye-Opening Similarities

Boost breast milk potency

Mothers milk AND coconut oil both owe their magnificent "antimicrobial" qualities to a group of saturated fatty acids called medium chain fatty acids (MCFA).

Milk, nature's perfect food, was designed by God to provide all the nutrients your baby requires within the first year or so of life.

Studies have shown that breastfed babies gain added protection against:

  • Heart disease
  • Obesity
  • Sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS)
  • Asthma
  • Diabetes (Type 1 & 2)
  • Respiratory infections
  • Allergies
  • ... many more...

Multiple Similarities

Both human milk AND coconut oil have more Saturated Fatty Acids (SaFA) than Monounsaturated Fatty Acids (MUFA) and Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids (PUFA).

Breast milk relies principally on MCFAs to protect newborn infants from infections. Coconut oil depends on MCFAs AS WELL to annihilate a long list of bacteria, viruses, fungi and other harmful microorganisms.

There are three MCFAs: Lauric acid, Caprylic acid and Capric acid. The most powerful of the three is lauric acid.

Lauric acid is the most plentiful MCFA found in mother's milk AND coconut oil. And the ratio of lauric acid to other MCFAs in human milk is IDENTICAL to that in coconut oil.

Without saturated MCFAs, particularly lauric acid, your baby would probably not survive long. Your baby would become malnourished and extremely vulnerable to disease and illness. That's why MCFAs are added to most, if not all, baby formulas.

Maximize MCFA-content

Many nursing mothers are terribly deficient in MCFAs and that includes their milk. Eating a meal containing about 3 tablespoons of coconut oil will temporarily increase their milk's MCFA-content by up to 150 percent after 14 hours.

Nursing mothers who have a sufficient supply of MCFAs in their diet can provide maximum benefit to their babies. Regular, daily intake of coconut oil boosts the potency of mothers milk.

The lauric acid content of Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) is more than 50 percent. No other food on earth, including breast milk, has more lauric acid than coconut oil. But just like mother's milk, MCFAs, especially lauric acid, are the main weapons of coconut oil in guarding you from a wide variety of health problems.

Coincidences? Don't think so... I'd say it's by design.

God created MCFAs. He obviously knows of their incredible value and usefulness. And He made sure that both mother's milk AND coconut oil contain significant amounts AND in similar proportions. Did that open your eyes or what? ;-)
