How I Use Coconut Oil

by Michael
(Victoria, B.C., Canada)

I'm just trying it out. I like to use it as a food, cosmetic and folk medicine. I think the food speaks for itself. I like it in soups, rice dishes, frying, baking and most other food dishes.

As a cosmetic, I apply it to my skin, hair and muscles. I simply apply it before I go anywhere. Perhaps, up to 3 times a day. It has a pleasant smell and feels good when not over-applied to the body.

As a folk medicine, I think it helps with itch, infection, and other symptoms. It seems to help healing of minor injury. And is best as a preventative.

Best of luck,
Mike
