The easiest way to use coconut oil for weight loss is to replace all the oils you use in your kitchen with coconut oil. A study conducted in McGill University, Canada was able to demonstrate this.
Researchers concluded that if you replaced all your kitchen oils made of Long Chain Triglycerides (LCT) with one made of Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT), you can lose 36 pounds of excess body fat each and every year. All you got to do, according to the study, is have an oil-change. That’s all!
Soybean oil, olive oil and corn oil, just to name a few, are LCT-oils. Coconut oil and palm kernel oil are MCT-oils. Compared to LCT-oils, there are very few MCT-oils, of which, coconut oil is the best source of Pro-Energy MCTs.
