Enlarged prostate surgery? Are you sure you want to go under the knife without giving coconut oil a fair shot at your prostate problem first?
I don’t know about you but for me, surgery is a last, last, last resort. And I mean LAST!
Unless there is a clear and present danger of my prostate bursting or something to that effect, no surgeon can touch my prostate.
Not until I have tried everything "natural" under the sun like saw palmetto and coconut oil.
Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) or prostate enlargement affects nearly half of all men between the ages of 40 and 59. The older they get, the higher the occurrence.
The exact cause of BPH is still not well understood. Nevertheless, there is some evidence to suggest that as men age, the male hormone testosterone is converted to dihydrotestosterone (DHT) and collects in the prostate gland. DHT promotes prostate cell growth which causes the prostate to enlarge and pinch off the urethra, the membranous tube through which urine flows from the urinary bladder.
This "pinching" causes frequent and abnormal urination, particularly at night, and is usually associated with inflammation of the prostate gland. If the DHT hormone is what enlarges the prostate, a logical treatment would be to block its conversion from testosterone.
According to studies, saw palmetto extract is very good at reducing the effects of enlarged prostate. Even conventional medicine acknowledges its effectiveness and safety.
Saw palmetto berries are a member of the palm family and a relative of the coconut, "The Fruit of Life." Most of its medicinal properties are obtained from fatty acids. And since many of the fatty acids in saw palmetto are Medium Chain Fatty Acids (MCFA), so should coconut oil be beneficial in treating prostate enlargement.
At least 67 percent MCFAs, coconut oil is the richest natural source of these rare and special fat molecules. So before you go under the knife, I strongly suggest you try coconut oil first.
If you have access to fresh, young, green coconut water, drink a glass or two daily. Take 3-4 tablespoons of coconut oil daily and massage more into your groin area several times throughout the day. Enlarged prostate surgery is absolutely preventable!
Eat plenty of fresh, organic fruits and vegetables. Avoid long periods of sitting and exercise regularly to enhance circulation in your pelvic area.
