Coconut Oil is a Solid

Coconut oil is a solid and obviously melts when heated. So do I heat the oil then consume it?

You don’t have to heat coconut oil before consuming it. You can consume it in either solid or liquid form.
Coconut oil has a melting point of 76 degrees Fahrenheit (24 C). This means above 76 F, coconut oil is liquid. Below, it’s a white solid.
This change in form is normal. Butter behaves in the same way…
