Can Coconut Oil Cure Foot Fungus?

by Cece
(Canada)

I seem to have a case of fungus around my toes. I have a prescription for Lamil spray which works quite well but is expensive to maintain. Will the antifungal properties of coconut oil help to cure the fungus?

Hi Cece,

In most cases, yes! I used to have recurring athlete’s foot but was easily remedied by coconut oil.

Coconut oil is the most generous natural source of Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT) or Medium Chain Fatty Acids (MCFA) on the planet. All the MCTs or MCFAs found in coconut oil (lauric acid, caprylic acid and capric acid) have potent antifungal properties.

I massage half a teaspoon of coconut oil around my toes twice a week, sometimes just once a week. That’s all it takes to keep my athlete’s foot at bay.

I suggest you massage coconut oil around your toes three times a day at first. I have a good feeling you’ll be pleasantly surprised. I don’t know how much Lamil costs, but I’m almost certain compared to it, coconut oil is dirt cheap. Not to mention all-natural and safe.

Hope this helps,
Frederick
