Healthy Oils for Cooking:
Is Your Vegetable Oil Trying to Kill You?

Coconut oil is the safest and healthiest cooking oil

Healthy oils that won't try to kill you when used for cooking? Use one that is highly "saturated."

Vegetable oils that contain large amounts of saturated fatty acids are the best oils to cook with. And in the world of vegetable oil cooking, nothing can match the superiority of coconut oil, the most saturated dietary oil.

Free Radicals

If the vegetable oil you use for cooking is mostly "unsaturated" like soybean and olive oils, then you are exposing your body to free-radical. attack. Free radicals assault healthy cells, making them weak and more vulnerable to disease.

Unsaturated fats are very delicate and easily spoiled by exposure to heat, sunlight and oxygen. They are highly susceptible to oxidation (getting rancid), and rancid oils are troublesome!

Free-Radical Factories

Polyunsaturated vegetable oils, in particular, are extremely unstable and rot pretty fast. They exhaust your body's antioxidant reserves by producing excessive amounts of free radicals.

Several studies have already demonstrated that polyunsaturated oils such as corn oil and sunflower oil boost cancer because of their tendency to spawn a high level of free radicals that harm the DNA of cells.

THE Healthiest Oil

Coconut oil is a very healthy oil for cooking. In fact, it is the greatest oil you can use for optimal overall health.

The more saturated a dietary fat is, the more resistant it is against the damage caused by heating and storing. 92 percent of coconut oil is composed of saturated fatty acids, making it the most stable dietary oil in the world.

You can heat and re-heat coconut oil under normal cooking temperatures without generating harmful free radicals. You can store virgin coconut oil (VCO) for at least two years and rest assured it won't spoil, even without refrigeration.

THE Healthiest Fatty Acid

Unique medium chain fatty acids (MCFA) richly present in coconut oil are incredibly resistant to oxidation. 67 percent of coconut oil are MCFAs, the main reason why coconut oil is sooo good.

If you are now thinking you should stop cooking with unsaturated oils, especially polyunsaturated, then I'm glad – you're getting it!

MCFA-loaded coconut oil is the safest and best oil to prepare and cook your favorite foods with. Most other oils don't even come close.
