Good and Bad Fats and
Why Coconut Oil is
the "Goodest" of them All




Good and bad fats? Good fats are all-natural fats. Bad fats are un-natural fats. And the healthiest and greatest of all good fats is coconut oil.

All dietary fats which God made are good and benefit mankind. It is only when man intervenes and tampers with their natural state that they become bad. Trans fats and interesterified fats are both man-made disasters.

All natural fats are good if taken in moderation. Even unrefined polyunsaturated oils such as soybean and corn oils with their weak molecular structures have their health benefits, if reasonably consumed. Overall though, no other dietary oil or fat is healthier than the great coconut oil. None!

Almost all the fats you consume are made of long chain fatty acids (LCFA). It doesn't matter if it's plant- or animal-based, saturated or unsaturated. About 98 percent of the fats you consume, especially if you adhere to the typical Western diet, are LCFAs.

Compared to coconut oil, LCFA-oils like soybean and olive oils are hard to digest. Only coconut oil is more than two-thirds medium chain fatty acids (MCFA).

Unlike LCFAs that circulate your entire body, MCFAs go directly to your liver to immediately help power metabolism. MCFA-loaded coconut oil is chiefly used to produce energy, not body fat.

Because it's highly saturated at 92 percent, coconut oil is also the best cooking oil you can use. It's very stable and ultra resistant to oxidation and free-radical formation.

Coconut oil is so stable that when heated, it is 12 times more resistant to oxidation than canola oil, 16 times tougher than soybean oil, and 300 times more durable than flaxseed oil.
