Examples of Fats to Eat and
Why Coconut Oil is the Healthiest

Examples of fats you should eat? That would be ALL fats, in moderation, of course. But coconut oil is one fat you will want to eat a little more of, at least.

When I say ALL fats, I mean all the fats God created.

The Almighty did not create trans fats and interesterified fats, man did. He never said to hydrogenate vegetable oils to make them more saturated. It was man’s idea.

Natural fats and oils (saturated and unsaturated) are essential for optimal health. As a concentrated source of energy, fats can provide more than twice the energy of sugar.

Your body’s hormonal system is dependent on fats for peak performance. This includes the production of hormones for the adrenal, thyroid and thymus (immunity) glands, just to name a few. Whole books have been published discussing the countless health benefits of fats. Coconut oil, though, is very interesting.

Coconut oil is 92% saturated but primarily medium chain fatty acids (MCFA). Almost all other fats and oils out there are mostly, if not entirely, long chain fatty acids (LCFA).

Unlike LCFA-oils such as soybean and corn oils, MCFA-rich coconut oil goes directly to your liver to help power metabolism. Coconut oil is Pro-Energy, NOT Pro-Fat!

The MCFAs in coconut oil are antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, antiparasitic, etc. The antimicrobial properties of coconut oil are so potent that it can even kill the virus responsible for AIDS.
