Coir door mats

Coir is the fiber obtained from the outer husk of the coconut and one of the most durable known to man.

Doormats are usually placed outside the entrance to a house or building where people can easily scrub and wipe the soles of their shoes before entering.

There are actually two varieties of coir or coconut fiber, brown and white. Brown coir is thick and the stronger of the two. While not as strong, white coir is finer and smoother, making it more flexible.
