Coconut Oil vs Gingivitis

by Nikki
(Tulsa, OK)

What does coconut oil do for gingivitis?

Hi Nikki,

Coconut oil kills germs that cause gum diseases like gingivitis. But that's not all. Medium-chain fatty acids (MCFA) generously found in coconut oil also destroy microbes that cause bad breath and tooth decay, keeping your mouth clean and healthy.

If you decide to stop using conventional/commercial toothpastes (you really should) that usually contain harmful ingredients like cancer-causing ones, brush your teeth daily using a mixture of baking soda and coconut oil.

Also, take note that gingivitis is a sign of nutritional deficiency. Make sure you're taking the Recommended Daily Allowances (RDA) of magnesium, vitamin C and all the B vitamins. Don't forget to rub infected area with coconut oil. Very helpful!

Hope this helps,
Frederick

Coconut Oil Pulling for Gingivitis
by: Elton

I have just recently found out (and I feel sorry for myself) that fluoride is an industrial waste and has no place in our bodies. So I'm really interested in trying out the baking soda-coconut oil natural alternative to conventional toothpaste.

What I have already tried and having success with is coconut oil pulling for oral health. I used to have bleeding gums especially while brushing. But very shortly after oil pulling daily for 15-20 minutes right before breakfast, I hardly see blood during brushing.

In fact, it's been a couple of months or so since I last saw some blood. I have a strong feeling the next occurrence is not going to happen anytime soon...
