Coconut Oil for Burns:
Soothe the Pain
and Heal Rapidly

Coconut oil for burns? Its exceptional molecular makeup allows coconut oil to hasten the healing or repair process of your burn injuries.

Virgin coconut oil (VCO) owes much of its special curative powers to a relatively rare type of fat molecules called medium chain fatty acids (MCFA).

Cellular activity is managed by the metabolism. A high metabolic rate translates to accelerated cellular activity including healing of injuries such as burns, cuts, wounds, etc.

MCFAs stimulate your metabolism. As a result, healing injured tissues and replacing damaged or diseased cells with healthy new ones are done at a faster rate of activity.

For minor burns, quickly put on something cold to the injury for about 10 minutes. Then gently apply a layer of coconut oil, reapplying it every hour or until the pain is gone.

For more serious burns, use a coconut oil bandage for relentless restorative action. Anything worse, please see a healthcare professional.
