Candida Coconut Oil:
Say Goodbye to Fungi

Candida coconut oil both agree on one thing. They hate each other. The fantastic antimicrobial wallop of coconut oil (CNO) includes fungi high on the list. CNO refuses to coexist with candida. Poor fungi doesn't stand a chance.

Candida or Candida Albicans is a single-celled fungus or yeast cell that normally populates the intestinal tract. Good bacteria usually outnumber the candida. But when the balance of these organisms is disturbed by antibiotic treatment, hormonal imbalances, or a weakened body resistance to disease, the fungus can begin to build up. This overgrowth is called Candidiasis.

If left unchecked, candida can penetrate the intestinal wall and affect your intestines' ability to absorb minerals, vitamins, fatty and amino acids. Not good. Good thing, nature provided us with a safe and very effective antifungal food.

Coconut oil's plentiful medium chain fatty acids (MCFA) kill candida and a multitude of other disease-causing microorganisms. But unlike antibiotics, MCFAs don't harm friendly bacteria. Reestablishing the good bacteria is your best way to end a candida infection.

Eliminate foods that feed this fungus. It's pointless to fight it off then nourish it at the same time. Avoid simple carbohydrates such as candy, cakes, white bread, cookies, sugary drinks and the like.

Eat a high-fiber diet. Coconut meat is exceptionally high in fiber and helps feed the good guys in your gut. Vegetables, legumes and whole grains to name a few are foods that not only feed good bacteria. When you think about it, these foods are exactly what your body needs in order to become and stay healthy. Not surprising at all, don't you think?
