Coconut Oil Biodiesel Fuel:
Cleaner and More Efficient

Biodiesel Fuel

Coconut oil biodiesel fuel or Coco-Biodiesel offers a more efficient approach to diesel fuel. That’s right folks! The Healthiest Oil on Earth is also a great source of clean and renewable energy.

Coconut Methyl Ester or Coco-Biodiesel

Many governments, particularly the Philippines, have looked into Coconut Methyl Ester (CME) as a petrodiesel quality enhancer. Biodiesel is the international name for methyl ester when used as diesel fuel or enhancer.

Coconut Methyl Ester is different from the coco-diesel used in the 1970s. Unlike coco-BIOdiesel, the crude coconut oil used in coco-diesel did not undergo esterification. Esterification is the generic name for a chemical reaction wherein two reactants (normally an alcohol and an acid) form an ester as the reaction product.

Coco-biodiesel’s characteristics allow for optimal combustion that can only lead to increased engine power, less emission and longer mileage.

Many often ask - Is it safe to use on my engine? Absolutely! With minor or zero modification to the fuel system, coco-biodiesel can be used in any diesel engine.

Just a Little Goes a Long Way

Simply blending a 1% equivalent of CME (yes, only one percent) to your favorite diesel fuel will protect your engine from wear and clean your fuel system, not to mention, dissolve carbon deposits from the combustion chamber.

One might ask. Just 1% is enough? The World Fuel Charter approves mixtures of up to 5% but studies show that a 1% blend of coco-biodiesel is sufficient to substantially reduce emissions.

So loading 50 liters of diesel fuel means you have to add 500 ml of coco-biodiesel or CME. Looks like an increased spending on fuel at first. But considering the increased mileage per liter, coco-biodiesel doubles the worth of your fuel investment.

Hmmm... Cleaner engine, more power, less pollution and reduced costs. As long as we are not utilizing food for fuel, it's a no-brainer, don't you think?!
